Meet The Host
COLIN CRAIG
Colin Craig has worked in the field of public policy for two decades and has helped shape government decisions at the municipal, provincial and federal level.
In 2018, he was hired as President of SecondStreet.org and played an instrumental role in launching the think tank. Colin oversees the organization’s ground-breaking research and storytelling activities, and is the host of their television show – On Second Street.

Colin also helped the CTF convince a majority of voters to vote “no” during Calgary’s Olympic bid referendum.
Colin has an MBA and a degree in economics from the University of Manitoba. He was awarded the Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee medal in 2022 by the Premier of Alberta for his work in public policy. He is the author of “The Government Wears Prada” and contributed several chapters to the eBook Life After COVID.
On Second Street
On Second Street, hosted by Colin Craig, examines a wide array of public policy topics – everything from health care and education reform to natural resource development and taxation. We're always focussed on – how do government decisions affect everyday Canadians?
Wherever possible, we speak with grassroots Canadians to hear how government decisions affect them – a patient discussing their health care experience, someone explaining how a tax change affects their business, etc. See you soon, On Second Street.
